Obituary of Irene Boles (nee Smith)

Boles, Irene (nee Smith) - Passed suddenly on February 21, 2017 at the Welland County Hospital at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Ken (1999) and brother Elwood. Beloved mother to Larry (Leslie). Cherished grandmother to Jason and great grandmother to Thae. Also survived by her step grandson's Stephen (Karen), Colin (Amanda) and step great grandchildren Jon, Nick, Chris, Jacob, Owen, Noah, Harmony, Trentyn, Jacksen and many friends and associates. Irene was a loans officer at CIBC, followed by her second career in real estate for Century 21. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Welland County Hospital. A very special thank you to Dr. Ola who treated her like the "Queen" she was and his staff. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Friday between 4-7 pm. Funeral ceremony will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:30 am with cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Society in Irene's memory.
