Obituary of Diane Shaw
Shaw, Diane.
Peacefully in her sleep on April 1st 2019, she finally made the “big move north”. Diane leaves behind loving daughters Debbie and Laurie, and son Gary (Sue); her grand-children Kelsey, Connor, and Katelyn. She also leaves behind brothers Rob (Linda), Billy (Bonnie) and Johnny (Soula); as well as foster children Lisa, Michelle, and Sher.
She fostered hundreds of children over the course of 28 years; her love of children impacted many lives. She was well known for her love of singing, her dogs, and her love of family. She’s probably watching CNN right now!
A memorial service will be held at 11am on April 12th at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. St Catharines. At Diane’s request there will be no visitation, and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family
