A Tribute To Pastor Frank Silver: The Dundee family extend our heartfelt and sincere condolences to Mary, wife of Pastor Silver and the children and grandchildren of their family and pray that his soul finds everlasting peace safe in the loving care of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We remembered Pastor Silver very fondly and with great reverence for his steadfast commitment to God's Holy Word and his love for his flock. He was the Peoples Pastor and he will certainly be missed by his many friends and the flock he shepherded.
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant. You have fought the good fight; you have run a good race. It is now your time to rest."
R.I.P our Pastor. 'Hi Ho Silver'.

Jonathan & Walima Ragnauth & family - We remember fondly Pastor Silver who was our Pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Brampton around 1992 to around 2002. His welcoming ways and humility were a source of comfort to us (as new Canadians) as we settled into Canada. He was instrumental in recommending me as Treasurer of the Church, a position I held long after he retired. I remember him walking the streets of Bramalea as he spread the word amongst the ever growing ethnic communities in Bramalea. Our little church thrived under his leadership and our membership grew. Pastor Silver who was American through his natural style felt comfortable with ministering to folks from all different walks of life and background. Indeed, I truly believe this was his calling. We were all sad when he retired and even though we wished him well, it felt like a chapter had closed in our Redeemer Church life.
Our lives have been truly blessed having known Pastor Silver.
To Mary and the children, grandchildren and the rest of the family, we extend our sincerest condolences during this time of sadness.

Dearest Mary, I feel your pain, sending BIG hugs
I found this and found it appropriate to send
No Tears Past The Gate
Someone new has entered
our eternal home above -
the heavenly gate has opened
to welcome one you love.
We cannot help the tears that fall -
our hearts need time to grieve
when earthly life has ended
and a loved one has to leave.
Yet even in the saddest time,
we know our Savior lives,
and we can trust completely
in the promise that He gives -
that in a glad reunion with the Lord
our loved ones wait to welcome us
in joy with no more tears
beyond the gate!

God's peace to you Mary. Tara and I will always remember your dear husband for his humble, self-effacing humour and his southern charm. He was a friend to both of us. As a mid-career pastor, the Lord used him almost as much in retirement as in his calls!
May God grant you faith, strength and hope in the promise of the resurrection, made sure and certain through our Lord and Saviour's resurrection.
-Rev. Robin and Deaconess Tara Korsch

Frank you are my one and only brother and you are now with God. I cannot put into words what a loss you are not to just me but to your family who loves you and to the many lives you touched as a minister.
The Main thing I will remember was when I was 3 and we were by our mamere's house. You told me the Bush there that had colored things on Bush was candy. Go eat. Them. I burned my mouth as it was a hot pepper bush. So funny now but mamere punished you on the swing on porch for a week. .that was a memory i.laugh and smile as I was the baby of the family and didn't know. There are so many.things but most of all I love and will miss you so much.
You are now with God and no more pain and suffering
Love you always and forever your sister Gayle
