Fond memories from the Collins Clan who were Valerie, Arthur, Martin and Graham’s (over the back fence) neighbours for 40 years. Reading the obituary brought back fond memories of attending get-togethers, with our families and our children: Laura, Michael and Chris, playing together as they were growing up. I remember Michael wrote a poem for Valerie of Val and her sisters arriving in Canada and had it printed and presented it to her at a party at the Greens. Val had it framed and it was one of her keepsakes. Lots if laughs and even though Alan passed a few months ago, I know he would like to be included in our tribute. Peggy and Alan.

Hello Martin, Graham and Families,
I'm so sorry to learn of the loss of your dear mother. Valerie was a much admired member of our Lincoln Study Group for many years. She was often given the task of thanking our guest speakers because she could always come up with a unique observation that left us either in awe or laughter.
Our future get togethers will not be the same without Valerie, a delightful lady!
Thinking of you,
Marg Gadsby

Dear Martin, Graham and families, so sorry to read about your Mom’s passing. I still love to drive down Old Coach Rd when I am in St. Catharines. Great memories growing up on the street and the many years we lived beside you. Sounds like you Mom was still living there, which is so wonderful!
I am lucky to still have both my parents, back living in St. Catharines after 30 years on Vancouver Island. My Mom, Eileen just recently turned 100, Dad, Gunnar almost 93.
I will let my parents know about your Mom’s passing and please know our family is thinking of you at this difficult time.
