Hello , my name is Dale Hric . I am so very ,very sorry for your loss of Wayne . I had the awesome pleasure of meeting Wayne while working with him at the Dana plant in Thorold . We spent lots of time talking about WWII and Canadian History. We took many long drives exploring around Lake Erie while enjoying a cigar . My wife Jennifer will miss him , as we shared a few meals , ales and laughs . I enjoyed spending time with him while machining some parts for his many projects . I was shocked and very sad to have just read about his passing tonight in the Tribune My deepest sympathy to your family .

We are truly saddened to hear of Wayne’s passing.
I fondly remember Wayne taking us for hay rides on Labour Day entertaining all the kids…..well, all of us!! He made this a fun annual event that we all enjoyed and looked forward to. He was also an encyclopedia of knowledge with WW2 facts and movies … very engaging … something I loved about him. The shirt off his back is an overstatement…he was so altruistic, he would insist you have something, even his baked beans which I never did try (nor some of the farm dogs lol) but I am sure they were mint..
Miss the secret smokes on the golf cart… luv ya, the line shack will never be the same. XO James and Rose

Our sadness and pain in our hearts are undeniable. Not seeing or hearing from my younger brother John "Wayne" Bedford. born March 1 1954 will certainly be missed. Wayne was always the independent adventurer with an extraordinary gift for remembering specific details in history & currant events. His passion to learn to teach and to accomplish were the many talents he took confidence in. Uncle Wayne loved & was always interested in his Nieces & nephews. Tina Ed Lori Angela Noelle & Josh. Their children enjoyed his banter. He had the gift of connecting with the older & younger generations. Wayne will never be forgotten. He lays to rest with Respect & Love from us. His treasured memories will live on. Rest in peace Wayne say Hi to everyone. We Love you. Sister Bev brother-in-law (a friend) Ed Koziej.& family.
