Obituary of Wayne Bedford
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Wayne on Tuesday, November 21 2023, peacefully at home in his 69th year. Beloved husband and best friend of, Neen Bedford (nee Wheeler), predeceased by her loving children, Sarah (2017), Pete (2019); Wayne will be missed by his grandchildren, Jack, Nicholas, Emma, Madisyn and Brooklynne; loving brother to David (Sue) Bedford of Thompson Manitoba, Bev (Ed) Koziej of St. Catharines Ont. Wayne’s words of wisdom will be remembered by his nieces and nephews and their children. Predeceased by his parents, Jack (1975) and Kay (2008) Bedford.
A colourful and adventurous personality whom would have made a great history teacher, with a great gift of remembering history and current events. Wayne was a millwright by trade with the skills of welding and mechanics- he could fix anything! Cruising the open air on his Harley, especially on road trips with his friend Ralph was his preferred peace of mind. With a heart of gold, Wayne would give you the shirt off his back. He lived life with respect and showed the ones around him love. He kept his childhood friends close throughout the years and was someone you will never forget.
In keeping with his wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery was held Friday, December 15th 2023 at 1:00PM with a Celebration of Wayne’s Life at his residence.
